Bad Short Stories

2 The man put on the hat…

3 Jonathan was a shoe…

4 The bins had been evolving on Mars…

6 Harold was tending his piccolo patch…

11 Deck sat across from Flan… (This one is particularly poor)

Inspired by the ‘Draw Something Daily’ challenge, I had decided to attempt a near enough equivalent in writing.

I thought the nearest analogue I could possibly achieve daily was to write a short story.

I was and will be writing them quite late and almost always just before I go to sleep. I think this will help twofold: I’ll have less of an excuse for avoidance of the ‘challenge’ and I’ll be closest to one of the supposed perfect times of day for inspiration (and most likely thinking up absolute nonsense).

None of these will be spell checked.

Less than one of them will make any sense.

For the most part I’ve been starting with a sentence that I have then tried to write my way into a story and then to an ending.
